The fact that my O-Z (@QueenBeeOz) tweeted this when she did seemed ever so dope to me, considering me and my dawg ASG (@agordonFILMwork) had recently had a conversation nearly identical to this tweet. He, in his boredom, came to this barely visited site of mine to dive into my musings for his entertainment and was saddened at the fact that I rarely update here like I should be. We came to the conclusion that thanks to the instant thought-to-public capability of Twitter, we (and most specifically me) have lost the ability to develop these witty ideas that pop into our head because once they’re in, they’re out with no true chance to process. So what does that mean for me and my Twitter (ab)use? I’m not sure. I try not to sit on it all day anymore, however me and my dawg Rick (@RICKdaDICK) sat out in the car in the cold last night for about 30 minutes in front of my house not talking to each other, but rather tweeting and randomly saying things like, “this Twitter has got a hold of me.” Damn you Twitter and your crackish abilities. Twitter has effectively fused instant messaging and blogging all in 140 characters or less. There are some who are able to blog to their heart’s content and still feed their urge to “tweet,” but many of us have gotten to the point where we can only think in a 140 character cap. Maybe that’s fine. Maybe people are too wordy these days, or maybe people don’t like to read anymore, but maybe, just maybe this new wave of expressing ourselves is destroying the genius we might find in our future thinkers and writers.

Turkey Day

Hope errybody had a great Thanksgiving and got to be with loved ones. I went to Cleveland with my girl’s family and it was nice, had a good time and got to see one of my older Aunts. I’m trying to finish Fear of Falling soon so everybody be patient with me please, its coming. I’m thankful for everyone of yall who is reading this and supporting me and my squad on this journey to greatness mayne, I hope you all are blessed and I wish you all the love and support you need to get you through, just as you all have given to me.
